Main Responsibilities:

• Research and identify the most appropriate options for the delivery infrastructure
• Design the architecture of the required infrastructure solution
• Manage the deployment, maintenance and upgrade paths of the infrastructure
• Support the Application Support team in dealing with critical incidents in the Managed Service environment

Skills:

• Advanced networking knowledge (TCP/IP, BGP, dynamic routing)
• Extensive knowledge and experience with one or more virtualization technologies (KVM, VMWare, HyperV, etc.)
• Experience designing and deploying highly available solutions
• Advanced experience building solutions on top of unix-like architectures (Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD, Unix)
• Networking equipment including reference architectures for datacentre, branch and campus (CCNP-level or similar)
• Deploying and managing SAN solutions (Ceph experience a plus)
• Global understanding of database concepts (SQL/no-SQL)
• Deep understanding of fundamental computer architecture, networking, virtualization, storage and operating system concepts
